Workshop Description

Target group

Primary and secondary teachers, school managers, ICT-coordinators and researchers that are interested in the practical possibilities of introducing TEFA of 21st century skills in the classroom.

Objectives

Workshop participants will learn to:

• Understand the reasons behind the shift from assessment of learning to assessment for learning
• Make a difference between the objectives of formative and summative assessment
• Distinguish between different formative eAassessment methods
• Understand the benefits and barriers of using eAssessment/Technology-Enhanced formative assessment approaches in their classroom
• Distinguish between various 21st century skills
• Think about which 21st century skills are important for their classroom practice and how they could be formatively assessed (with the help of technology)
• Use an e-assessment tool
• See that the barriers of implementing a TEFA approach vary across contexts
